We’d love to have you involved with us at the Terrell Heights Neighborhood Association.
Terrell Heights Neighborhood Association is an all volunteer organization. We do not have any paid staff. As such, we depend on our neighbors to make everything happen, from small to large. There is something for everyone to do, even if you only have a few minutes free to help.
As one of the most dynamic neighborhood associations in San Antonio, no matter your expertise or interest one of our activities is a fit for you. Indeed, what makes a neighborhood special, great even, is when neighbors get involved and there is a legacy of engagement in the community. Terrell Heights has that, and we encourage you to help us keep making great things happen.
From spring picnic planning and Neighborhood Night Out to collecting Christmas gifts for Elf Louise to give to needy children and the annual neighborhood-wide yard sale, and from helping to plan new sidewalks and road improvements to gardening and landscape improvements in our parks and traffic islands, there is so much we have accomplished and so much still to be done.
What can you do?
The easiest way to get involved is through out committees. Check them out and contact the appropriate committee chair to find out how you can help.
Propose a new project or idea and help us figure out how to accomplish it.
Simply be engaged, read our materials and attend board meetings; stay up-to-date with all that is going on in our diverse community and be an ambassador to spread the word about what a great place Terrell Heights is to live.
And, we often tell people that the single most important way to get involved is simply to join the neighborhood association. Many of the things we do for the community costs money and membership dues is by far our primary source of revenue.
We hope to hear from you soon!
