Terrell Heights is part of the Alamo Heights Independent School District (AHISD), one of San Antonio’s most prominent school districts with some of the highest ranked public schools in the state and nation. Alamo Heights ISD schools have among the highest test scores, graduation completion, and college-bound percentages in the region. Being smaller than other districts in the San Antonio metropolitan area gives the schools a personable, small town feel.
Alamo Heights High School is known for its excellence as a college preparatory high school where students benefit from a very challenging educational program and a very wide array of extra curricular opportunities. It boasts a number of prominent alumni nationally. The school is known for an exceptional level of supplemental student support and enrichment, as well as an award-winning faculty, thanks in great part to the support of the Alamo Heights School Foundation.
